making stuff and doing things

portrait of lyric itinerant

I’ve enjoyed making things and telling stories my whole life, and chose a STEM education for my bachelor’s in part because I am interested in how things work. When I decided to pivot to a new career in graphic design and illustration, I wanted to bring the skills I had learned working in a team environment in the tech sector, while also developing as a creative as much as possible. I love bold lines and expressive colors and patterns, but most of all I enjoy creative problem solving and the satisfaction of bringing a project to completion. I have a growth mindset, and look forward to continuing to develop my design and artistic skills as I move forward.
